We are seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing development team. This candidate will lead a stellar team of strong, self-motivated developers and engineers developing advanced customer-facing platforms using proven frameworks and technologies. The candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing a robust AI software development strategy, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, and driving innovation using the latest Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. Support deep observability solutions and technologies for AI-enabled network technologies, reflecting a commitment to cutting-edge infrastructure and scalability.

  • Develop a visionary and strategic approach to software development, anticipating future needs and trends in technology.
  • Present technical solutions and progress updates to leadership teams, demonstrating effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive software development strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement software and hardware solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Demonstrate an architectural mindset to ensure software systems’ scalability, reliability, and performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node.js & Python with a strong track record of delivering high-quality code.
  • Experience with one or more public/private cloud infrastructures.
  • Utilized expertise in hybrid cloud to optimize the platform’s performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Experience developing vision and strategy for software solutions that align with business goals.
  • Proven experience delivering technical presentations to leadership teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong architectural mindset and proven ability to design and implement scalable and robust software systems.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of AI concepts, specifically NLP, NLU, and Generative AI.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Los Angeles, CA headquarters region is $231,000 – $289,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonuses (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
